There will be an opportunity to dive the famous Scapa Flow in Orkney or the West Coast of Scotland.
Used as a naval base by the British Navy for the Northern Fleet in both wars Scapa Flow has one of the greatest concentrations of wrecks in the world. In addition to the remains of the scuttled German High Seas Fleet there are numerous other wrecks close at hand. Lying on the boundary between the North Sea and the Atlantic, Orkney's West Coast provides stunning scenic diving and abundant marine life. The cost will be £ 240 based on 10 divers for the week. The cost covers two boat dives per day and air fills. EANx and TriMix are available if required. Dive briefings and guiding will be provided by staff from SULA Diving and the Orkney Hyperbaric Unit if required. Accommodation is available onboard for a small additional charge or alternatively there is a wide variety of onshore accommodation. Bookings should be made to Scapa Flow Charters. |
